Overhauls/rebuilding includes:
- Dried-out wood restored with oils
- Pivots replaced in arbors
- Bearings of wood or of brass, custom-machined & installed into the wooden plates
- Teeth repaired
- Ratchets rebuilt
- Levers adjusted, repaired, or replaced
- Cables and pulleys replaced; pulleys sleeved & rebuilt when possible
- Suspension springs/rods, and pendulums, repaired
- Escapements repaired, rebuilt, adjusted
