Do you make house calls?
Yes! I do make house calls for grandfather and grandmother, and “tall” (or “longcase”) clocks.
Are house calls free?
No. There is a charge for house calls, and the exact cost depends on the distance that you are located from Beverly MA, and the amount of time that I’m onsite.
(We will always discuss and agree-upon on the “house call” pricing before I make the visit to your home). Please inquire.
How far will you travel?
Pretty far.
Generally, my range covers northeastern Massachusetts, west out to about the Worcester area, and south down to about the Route 495 belt.
Northward, in general I travel up to about the Rochester NH area, west over to about Concord NH, and south down to about the Nashua NH and Lowell, MA areas.
If you are not within these areas but desire or require my services, please inquire.
Boston, MA
Yes, I will travel into the city of Boston (many repairmen and shops won’t)…. provided that there is on-street, “private alley”, garage (with enough height clearance), or other suitable parking for my service van at (or very close to), your home…. from which my van will not be towed or ticketed.
When can you come to my home (or office)?
I am generally available on weekdays, and on Saturday mornings.
What do you do on a house call?
Typically, I will first see if the clock can be made to operate on site. It often can. And if it can, I will do so.
If it cannot, I will diagnose the problem(s), point them out to you, and make repair suggestions and give price quotes for the suggested work.
How much does a house call cost?
I consider prices to be confidential information between my customers (and potential customers) and me. As such, I do not post prices online for all to see. Please contact me for information.
